I use napkin rings and old bracelets
pretty ribbon with the wire edges. silk flowers or vines. silky neck scarves.
If you sew...take the hem out, cut a strip of fabric, fold and stitch, rehem the curtain and you will have matching tie backs
Saw on another craft site using scarves as tie backs. Picture looked good but purchasing pretty scarves can be expensive if you can't find at flea markets like they did.
I have used beads and at Christmas a strand of red poinsettias. Even for spring I used a garland of green ivy.
