in 1909 it was all wallpaper, and dark wood. I'm not sure that's the look people want now...
That's the Victorian era. Check on YouTube they used a lot of wild big print wall papers. Colors can be dark red, green etc. however, check sites like Pinterest as well great info on both places!

The Sherwin-Williams is a good link. 1909 is Edwardian, not Victorian, and the popular styles were mission and bungalow. Some of the name brand decorators from the late Victorian period (Wm. Contact your local historical society and they can recommend colors that were used at that time They were also helpful about landscape ideas
