No real answer but is it leaking after rains? If so, one thing is to slope the earth away. You might even find it necessary to use black plastic film to channel it. Then, I'd mound up rocks or tiles to direct the rain water away or something that isn't absorbent like mulch.
Depends on what the problem is. if it's collapsing or breaking down in spots, this is not DIY job unless you're a professional .. and you wouldn't be asking if that were the case. If it's water coming into the cellar, make sure your downspouts end at least ten feet from the foundation, that the land slopes away from the house. Consider a swale to guide water away. If water is coming in from a rising water table, there's not a lot you can do besides have a good sump pump and excellent ventilation in the cellar to keep it from getting too damp. If you want to make it more cosmetically perfect, good mortar and tools are your friend. What's your problem/goal?
