Not sure if you have kids or not but a project we did at a birthday party for one of mine .....
We took a drop cloth and spread it out on the grass. We took not toxic poster paint in a few bright colors and painted the bottom of the kids feet. They then ran across the drop cloth leaving foot prints. There feet where washed by stepping into a bucket of warm soapy water and a quick spray with the hose to rinse. After the cloth was dry we hung it across there bedroom ceiling. They loved having footprints running all over the ceiling. You could also make it into curtains or a table cloth. Use fabric paints if you want something more permanent.
