It depends on the look you are going for and the condition of the window. If you like the look of the window as is, just clean it up well. If you want to paint it, cover the windows on the edges in painters tape, and paint away. You can use regular indoor house paint, or chalk paint or any other type. Have fun!
It depends on what shape their in. If your making something new, why not paint it. If it's in good condition make sure you weather proof it, with a good sealer. EJL.
