Your question got cut off after "now I want" Do you want to get it working ( take to a sewing shop who has or knows a repair person.) Or do you want to change it into something decorative to enhance your room?
Put a piece of glass on top and use machine for a table but please don't take it apart or paint it. Wish I had my mothers Singer.
