Hello Bwade1943, I would say that the best colors would be white, light grey, and a golden color (or a sulphur yellow). I am posting a Pinterest page for you to peruse for ideas. Good Luck and thanks for asking HOMETALK for ideas :)

question is what colors do you like.keep in mind color of any sought is very personal
it depends on what the light is like in the room...white and silver is lovely with teal, and a sunny room can take shots of cobalt blue, but a room with less natural light needs something warmer like Ms Whampus suggests - I bought a house with a soft teal carpet that I love too much to pull up just yet, and we went with Behr's 'Butternut' on the first floor, which gets 'no' natural light at all, and was cold and dim even with full-spectrum lighting.
Teals can also go well with rust and other warm browns, and a mossy green, or a cool brown darker than the teal, and the softest, pale gray/green or buttery yellow.
It would depend on the style and look you are going for. if you want a beachy look, you could use white, coral, yellow, or even a bright lime green. If you are going for more of a modern look, you could try grey or black. A more formal style could use a chocolate brown and lighter mocha color. It all depends on the look you like....and of course, you need to consider what shade of teal you have as well.
