Hello Susan! I have removed price tags with nail polish remover. You can also try removing stickers with a hair dryer — apply the heat and remove residue with a pencil eraser. Goo gone works, too, but you can make your own at home if you don’t want the expense of purchasing it. Here are the simple instructions:

Nail Polish remover
I use nail polish remover on surfaces that are not plastic such as glass & tile. If it’s a plastic type of surface such as some text books & paper backs, I’ve used just a small next to nothing amount of baby or mineral oil on the tip of my finger. Make sure the oil won’t soak into the surface. I’ve had good luck with rubbing alcohol on wood surfaces & other plastic items. An orange wood stick (for your nails) dipped in alcohol and gently scraped sticky residue will come right up!
good luck =-)
I would use Goo Gone. But just a little bit.
Hold a curling iron on it for about 10 to 30 seconds or so, it will melt the glue and should peel right off.
