I'd use shades of brown to beige and cream. It really depends upon if you like bright colors or soft. I prefer soft colors.
Off white and beige
Tans, browns, white, cream.
For more punch I would go with the color that is complementary on the color wheel---- shades or variations of orange. I think that coral would look particularly lovely. Or a soft tangerine.
Gray....it's a favorite now and complements turquoise beautifully
If you want to be bold, Coral! I have seen them together and the combination is breathtaking. I do not have the decorative courage myself. I would probably low-key it to beige.
Chocolate Brown, cream/beige or even something in the orange family. I know the orange may sound strange...I did too until I went to my friends wedding and her colors were turquoise and orange.
Maroon and mauve go well in my house with turquoise chairs and a sofa that has a print with all three colors
I had turquoise walls once and found brown/beige complements that color very well. Not much choice except white.
What's your favorite color? You could go pastel, anything from white to grey. Or go bold with red, navy blue, or forest green. Let your imagination go wild! Buy small cans of spray paint and paint some boxes to set by the furniture. See what best suits you.
Brown or black, in my opinon :-)
One good thing about paint....if you don't like it you can easily paint over it!
Coral, copper, rust colors.
