Tell the clerk who works at a paint store, that has worked there for many yrs. Take a pic first, before you go there. Best wishes, J.
Judy has a good idea. Most people get their paint from Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, Menards and even Walmart. There is a type of paint made to be used on Cabinets and Trim that I would think would be a good choice. Then again, often people use chalk paint - it's "the rage" these days. The original chalk paint is Annie Sloan's brand, but many other paint companies are making their own these days. You can also make your own with any water-based paint that you want. Just google ' make your own chalk paint ' to look up the various recipes.
Just so you know, we answer general questions here. If you remember the page where you found the original, it's best to ask the creator because all of our projects come from members of Hometalk. The same way that Hometalk members share answers with people who have questions. When I looked up desks, there were over 100 painted desks. We have absolutely no idea which one you found. Also, one last little tip. If you commented on the project, click where your picture is and you might find the project in that area. Click to the right to get past the first 4. Good luck!
Home improvement store, hardware store, craft and hobby store, stand alone paint store.
