My brother is an avid golfer and did a golf themed bathroom. I made him a curtain for his bathroom window with vintage golf themed fabric and he used an old golf club from our grandfather as the curtain rod. He also used an old club as a towel rack for the hand towels.
Picture a big ball, an empty tuna can, and painted golf balls and some silver florist wire. First, place two small holes on either side of the tuna can bottom. Second: Slip 3 yards of wire through holes, leaving the cut ends outside. Next. Use E6000 glue to the inside holes and wire to make the wire stable. Next glue the tuna can upside down to the ball. Let dry. Next twist the wire's base ends together, maybe about 4 times. (The ones just outside the tuna can.) Next, glue the golf ball to the tuna can and wire. Wrap the wire horizontally up the golf ball and twist again about 4 times. Form the rest of the wire into one giant loop and use more E6000 on final twisted loop to make it stable, and hang it from your outside tree like a colorful CHRISTmas ball. Wha Lah. You're done. (The golf ball asct as a small weight to keep the wind flinging down and the ball stable. Hope this helps. It's really easy, just a little time consuming , but worth it.
