How to glitter the inside of a Mason Jar

I saw a Christmas mason jar decoration. The inside of the jar was glittered and maybe slightly glazed. There was a faux evergreen tree on the inside which could be seen through the glass. Does anyone know how to give that treatment to the inside of a glass jar? Thank you

i can only guess...lightly paint on modge podge, and fill with glitter and then empty excess glitter onto a paper plate to reuse...

paint the inside with a thin coat of Mod Podge (found at walmart or any craft shop) and while the Mod Podge is still wet add whatever glitter you would like on the inside glass, shake it to cover all the sides and discard the excess. Leave it out to dry, when the Mod Podge is applied it is a milky color but it dries clear. Then add your little tree with some hot glue. Use tongs if you need to hold your tree while you put it inside your jar.

    Hope this helps!

Hi Judy! You can use a spray on glue — reasonably priced, as low as $4+ at Target — to spray the inside of the glass. Throw in the glitter, close the jar, then shake the glitter around so it sticks all over the inside of the jar. Use any standard craft glue to secure a miniature Christmas tree inside the jar!

    Judy,

This is for the inside of the jar...

You add water to Elmer's glue and the add glitter of choice. Make a thin paste. Put a few tablespoons of paste into jar and swirl around. Turn upside down and continue swirling. Allow that which is not stuck to fall on to paper towels to throw out. Once you have removed the extra glue paste, place jar upside down on paper towels to dry for at least a few hours.
