line a pan to the depth of the top of the item with aluminum foil, coat baking soda on the top of the foil, cover with water. This works for silver... so try it on a spot that isnāt visible first. It looks like there is a coating on the item if it works you may want to spray it with a clear coat to preserve the shine.
Could you put greenerry around the two deer to hide the pitting. Since you love them so I would take them to a professional.
I love them! If the actual coating is not important, you can spray paint them
both, maybe even another color like white, copper or brass.
