I would find a nice color chalk paint that you like and paint on over that. You can stencil the tiles as well- I think that would look really nice.
Shoshana is right - a chalk paint would look great on this piece!
I have the exact same table. Have tried to regrout. Doesn't work. Any suggestions?
I have that same kitchen table and have been considering doing something like this with it. I'd take out the tiles and put in stained planks of different colors, then paint the wood border.
Scape out/break up all the old tiles, remove all grout and glue, sand, paint the wood frame & legs, then reinstall a new top within the inset,ie: larger tiles, planks of wood, stones with a glass set on top etc. Think of it as a “tray“ framework and you get to pick what you want in the center.
Do a dry-fit of whatever new material you want for the top before you glue it down.
the area of wood that is worn can be lightly sanded and polyurethane again.
I'll try it Thanks
I have a round one just like it 😑 advice please!
