Kit, I am a wallpaper hanger and I can tell you that it will not stick for the long term. Have you thought about using window tinting like what on your car. Black may not be a shade you want to live with but it is a thought. Maybe you can find it in other shades, Google and find out what you may find . Other thought, contact spray and lace curtains

I would try painting the mirror with a primer and then applying wallpaper. Try a test area first.
There are window clings you can get for windows that should work really well on mirrors. There are many different ones to choose from. You can change them when ever you want and reuse them, too.

I used the peel and stick wallpaper from Walmart. I cleaned the glass really good and put it on. You can remove and reposition and it will still stick. Been there for several months and has not budged. The roll of the wallpaper at Walmart I found is in there paint section.
