I would not refinish Teflon, as there are already concerns about off-gassing from non stick pans. There is a product that I know as a "magic eraser nano" that is a sponge like melamine product with slightly abrasive outer layer. These will polish up the outsides of pans, cookie sheets and oven racks, and even slight scratches on non stick coatings, if used very gently. If its not a nonstick pan, then there are all kinds of solutions for scratches and pitting.

If they are old teflon pans, chuck them, they made them illegal to make anymore cause the coating is toxic, so if they are scratched you're exposing yourself to chemicals that can make you ill. Buy one of those new Red Copper pans.... they're great and don't scratch like the old ones.
