the best thing to keep squirrels off is a baffle
The only spinning bird feeders I've seen are when a squirrel tries to get at the bird feed, loses it's balance and the bird feeder spins. I have never seen ant spinning bird feeders available for sale. How would the birds be able to eat?
I use the grease my hubby puts on the hubs of the boat trailer on the posts of my bird feeders. It lasts months and it is hilarious to see the chipmunks try to get up the posts to the feeders! If I get another feeder, I will get the kind that closes when the critters get on the feeder.
