I painted antique frames with glossy white paint

I want a modern look on my frames but spray painting glossy paint showed all the imperfections. What can I spray over to make them still white but still modern?

how about a crackle finish, or gold leafing it, maybe hot glue something that represents the picture where the room is going to be in ( a few silk flowers in a bunch over the imperfections, maybe an piece of jewelry or a jewelry chain spray painted a color to to give a pop of color and also cover the imperfections or just leave it white
Try a coat of chalk paint (not chalkboard paint). It will give it a matte finish.
