How to cut glass tiles. Is there a technique better than another?
I am installing a peel and stick glass tile back splash. I need to cut several thin 3x6" tiles in half. I bought a new glass cutting tool to score them, but my first attempt was a miserable failure. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Nancy

Hi Nancy. The best and easiest way to cut any tile is to invest in a tile saw, or see if someone might have one that you can borrow.
If you want to give the cutting tool another try - be sure to score through the glass a couple of times, then lay the scored tile on top of another tile for stability when it is snapped. You may need to practice a bit. The other thought would be to go to the place you purchased the tile and see if they would cut it for you.
