The only solution I can offer is to remove the square with the hole in it and replace it with one from another area of the quilt where it will not be as noticeable..... say one of the edges.... another solution would be to replace some of the other squares in addition to the one with the hole... and put them in a random or other pattern... just save the squares you take out to make future repairs.
Another solution would be to add some applique designs in a slightly contrasting fabric or embroider some design over it randomly on squares to blend.
You could add buttons to that row. Since the hole is off center, I would use 2 buttons per square.
remove an inconspicuous piece with a razor if you can. cut it out. Remove around the burn hole and using a fabric glue you can glue the piece you cut out, to cover it from the underside.
Thank you very much I sewed the holes and covered the pillows. It's ok now. I tied them like scarves. the fabric was $2 a yard very nice.
