Use vinegar or we-40. Afterward, use a Mr. Clean Magic eraser. Do not use nail polish remover, it may take the finish off.
Hi Theresa, Begin by scraping away as much paint from the surface as possible with a dull scraper. Use gloves and moisten a cloth with mineral spirits and gentle wipe it over the area. Do not apply pressure or scrub too hard. If the mineral spirits don't remove the paint, you may have to use turpentine. That will cut thru the paint but remember to use it in small amounts so you don't damage the tub. After you remove all the paint, wash the entire area with soap and water. Rinse with clean water and allow it to dry. If possible, make sure the room is well ventilated.
Try some spray on cooking oil and a round plastic scrubby.

If it's just drops of latex paint, soak it with warm soapy water then scrub off with a nylon scrubby like you use for nonstick pans. It will come right off.
