Can I paint a bathroom sink that is faux marble and plastic?

There are two identical sinks in my rental and they look exactly the same, disgusting! I don't want to have the expense of replacing both. I know there are great DIYers out there to help! My landlord is on board with whatever I can do with them!!! Thank you all for any ideas you can give me. DIY for life💪

You would spend more on paint, not to mention the value of your time than your would to replace it. They are very reasonable at Lowes and Home Depot and easy to install.

Try Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner in the black bottle for rust and lime remover on the label. This works on toilet bowls, metals, etc. and it's worth a try on your faux marble. Good luck!!!

Agree that replacement is an option to consider. Home Depot and Lowe's on-line don't appear to sell the top without the cabinet, but they are available in stores or on Amazon. You can get an updated look sink for $100, more or less, and if the interior of the cabinet is in good condition, a coat of paint will do wonders.

If you want a really cheap fix...close the drain...put baking soda on it and then pour on some white vinegar. It will froth up and eat off all the mess on that sink. It will look brand new and is a 2.00 solution

Paint the vanity also. Just lightly sand to remove any gloss. Prime with a good stain blocking primer. Then paint with your color. Seal with at least three coats of a water based polyurethane.
