I have a Levelor shade, which is cordless and it's on a spring. It has an energy shield to keep the hot out and the cold. It's sides has a honeycomb style, and it cost around $350. You attach it with 3 brackets, and slide it on easy. Homedepot, Blinds To Go, and several other stores carry Levelor. Measure your window from inside, and your shade will be 1/2 inch cut from each side, fits perfectly. If you have any problem with the shade call them, and the'll replace it.
Lowes has long rods that come in sections so you can expand it or just use a part of it. I believe it goes to 12 ft at full length.
JCPenney has some.
Overstock.com has them.
There are places online that make custom rods as well. Just google custom curtain rods
I used the cheap curtain rods and when placed close together in the bays looks like it is all one unit.
