Pillows are an easy decorating tip. You can even find ones in colors you like, get a stencil of words you like and paint that on the pillows. Instantly, you have added color and quotes for your room. Artwork on the walls are easy too. Get a blank canvas at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, even Walmart. Paint it in the colors you want, and again, either stencil or freehand with a Sharpie or paints to add your quote you like. Lots of ideas there!
Choose a multi-color pillow or rug with your color and coordinating colors and then pull a couple two of the coordinating colors out in your décor. I wish I knew what room you were decorating, I could give more specific advice.
