Z on May 16, 2014Just going on your description, I'd make it look like a flower with the top painted like the center of the flower and scallops like the petals. The legs could be painted green for stems.Helpful Reply

Moira McCullough on May 16, 2014There's a new paint on the market, it's got chalk in it, you don't need to sand off the old paint and once used, you only need one coat and it dries in 20 minutesHelpful Reply

Donna Byram on May 16, 2014I think I would do chalk board paint. You can get it in colors now. What kid wouldn't love to be able to write on a table and not get in trouble?Helpful Reply

Jeanette S on May 18, 2014What about blackboard paint on top so they could draw on it? Or router out a large part of the center about 1/8-1/4" deep, glue a set of big size Legos on it, then further hold them in place with molding...it could be a Lego table! By the time they get to the age of liking the smaller ones, they won't be using this table.Helpful Reply

Debra on May 18, 2014It is just a table set I want to paint then sell it. My husband and I have started to do flea markets and I paint small pieces of furniture that I save from the land fill. The are usually in need of some kind of repair or paint job. So I want this table to be able to work for a girl or boy that is why I am a little stumped. I have done a few in the past that were for a girl, and for a boy so this I want it to be for either.Helpful Reply
