I found it worked good as a substitute, I've also used baking dlsoda and lemon

I use it for delicate items I can't bleach (lingerie)
no, it will look like it was sun bleached
I don't find it does AS good of a job as bleach but it still does pretty darn close!!
I don't generally measure I just pour haha but I would say probly about a cup of peroxide, I put half a lemon sliced up in the peroxide and let it soak to get all the juice into it then squeeze the lemon as I take it out then pour it in with the laundry
