what kind of floors?
I used a textured epoxy on an awful cement floor. I was surprised at how easy it was. It requires multiple coats, so be sure to buy enough. Since it is a horizontal surface, you don't have to worry about drips. I just poured the epoxy right on the floor and spread it out with the kind of roller that was recommended . No need for a paint tray. Wrap the roller in plastic wrap between coats.
Oh yes you sure can!! Prep work will depend on what kind of floors you have, but some Porch and Floor Paint from the hardware store can do wonders. Here's a project I did - all in less than $75 and what a difference!
