i have my litter boxes sitting on thicker plastic sheeting. wipes up easily. i also have a smaller table that i stash them under. if you use a table you can attach a curtain rod and use smaller curtains to hide them
I have been fostering cats for many years and I have always used a rubbermaid (or generic) tub with lid. The kind of tub you use for storing items, as a cat box for extra large cats.
You cut a hole in the side of the rubber tub making sure you have it high enough that the cat has to climb into it to use it and use the largest tub you can so the cat can totally fit into the tub.
Then you can either decorate the tub with paint or stickers or you can put a small tablecloth over it being careful not to cover the hole and use the tub as an extra small table or night stand if it’s in the bedroom.
This way you have a litter box that is hidden as a table which will allow your large cat to use it without missing or going pee over the edge of it.
