I am an amateur woodworker. My most versatile and cannot do without tools are the angle grinder and its various wheels (discs), pliers, knife and, screwdrivers slotted and philips head. Anything else will depend on your project. I am always amazed at the versatility of the humble angle grinder. It is a dangerous piece of kit in the hands of the unwary and unfocussed but it is an admirable tool.
