That is why I don't have Stainless!!! I had a stainless stove back in the 60s and hated it! They now have "finger-print-less" ones now.
Cleaning stainless steel is just one step. In restaurants and bars cleaning is the first step. All use different products depending on the application. Final step is applying a light coat of mineral oil with a lint free cloth. Make sure you follow the grain.

I found a product once called Twinkle it was a foam spray and worked well. I am about out but plan on looking online for more
Hello. I use windex. It works great. It is a tip from Martha Stewart. You may need to do it a few times to get all of the other products off of the stainless first. Good Luck!
There is a spray that works well, but it's been a really long time since I lived in that apartment with the stainless steel sink. Ugh. Water spots are constant in a sink! I remember I didn't like the smell of it, and it was an aerosol, so I only used it occasionally, like when company was coming. You could try WD-40 or rubbing alcohol, since the streaks are most likely coming from water, so something that doesn't have water might work. Also, if you know someone who sells Norwex, they have some cloths that are made for glass, but they really do a good job with streaks.

I use stuff direct from a manufacturer, called Rustic Touch. It's wicked expensive on Amazon. It works like a charm. I don't sell or distribute. Shoot me a message and I will give you the info.
Try WD40. I use it all the time. Works great on granite also.
