What’s a good starting saw for beginning wood crafter?
Want to cut small pallet type boards to length. Don’t want to invest a huge amount of money, but power tool is necessary for physical limitations.

i think a small miter saw or circular saw. with a miter you could cut straight & angles which is nice, a sliding miter is even better because it allows for cuttting a wider wood. don’t know where you are located but if you have a Harbor Freight store they have good quality saws for VERY reasonable prices
Home Depot, Ryoby 18 V battery handheld circular saw. Works well for that kind of wood work, and the benefit is you can add other tools as you need that use that same battery cheep. Best wishes
