Will latex paint adhere (on top) to a base of enamel paint?

I have some small wood projects that I want to do using enamel spray paint - and then need to add some decorative painting on top with leftover colors of (old house and interior/exterior projects) of latex? Will the latex have enough holding-power to not 'slide off' (the enamel) and stay to stick on there?

I would use a matte finish spray paint or flat finish spray paint rather than an enamel finish as my base for decorative painting and then seal over your decorative painting with a spray poly. I am not sure if your wood projects are interior or exterior so you would have to make some adjustments for exterior by using a final sealer made for exterior use.
So if I use a matte-or-flat finish paint sprays (instead of enamel spray which I only mentioned in the ? as I have that on hand), then it is fine to use the latex (leftovers for both interior and exterior, as mentioned in my ?) on top of that for the decorative trim and it will hold?
Yes, I did already plan on using a weather-sealer for anything that would go outdoors; so thank you for reinforcing that idea. :)
I think it would be fine to use your leftover paint for your decorative trim. As long as you spray it with a poly or varnish sealer you will be good.
If it's latex based enamel no problem. Oil based enamel latex will not hold.
