How to stain hollow door?
I have a slidding double closet door from the 50's that I would like to stain. Since its not solid wood was wondering if if I still need to sand it and if the stain would absorb too much.

We have hollow core bi-fold closer doors. When we purchased the house, to freshen the dull bi-folds, my husband sanded the doors and just polyurethanes them with a satin finish. 11 years later they still look great. Goodluck
I'd still sand it .. lol
