Hi Kate. Love the floral patterns. I redid a stool myself with fabric but I wanted the legs to have a solid less formal color so I painted them a solid soft lightish Brown. Hope I helped you some. Good Luck
Take one of the chairs (or a good photo) to the paint department of the home improvement store and ask them to select paint/stains and other finishes and application tools that will work for you. They have the best selection, the most up-to-date materials and most important, the most informative sales staff to get you what you need for a professional job.
Inquire about chalk paint. It usually does the job on various materials.
