Wet the tile.....pour a huge amount of table salt.....let stand 24 hours......vacuum up the salt and the stain should be gone. You can do it a second time if needed.
Your options are guided by the type of varnish it is. If it is a water-based varnish you can try soap and water, or ‘Denatured Alcohol’. If it is an oil-based varnish you can try lacquer thinner, or ‘Acetone’. Also, if the varnish has a slick, shiny appearance, scrape it lightly with a single-edged razor blade.
