How to fix stretch jewelry?
Stretch jewelry bracelets have been popular for a while. By now, most of mine are stretched out but not torn. How can they be fixed without taking them apart and restringing. The beads separate enough to see the elastic. Any Ideas? Thank you.

The only way I can think of would be to apply your old jewelry to a thin band of elastic. Elastic comes in various colors so you might find a base color that would blend. Otherwise restringing is the only way I can imagine it working.
Pan maybe this will help: http://org-this.blogspot.com/2012/04/how-to-repair-or-make-stretch-bracelet.html
Hello Pan! Yes....you can absolutely fix this. It would help if you had a few tools, like a thread holder, but steady and patient hands can also work. Since your elastic has stretched, see if you can locate the original knot. If you cannot find it, just pull on the elastic and without cutting it, make a loop knot where it fits comfortably on your wrist. Put a dot of glue on that new knot. Then clip your loop evenly and make a square knot so it will tie right into the glue. If you have enough elastic, one more knot would be ideal.
Keep in mind, that this will have a temporary fix because the elastic will eventually break. I have actually scanned or taken a photo of bracelets I have made to make sure I can arrange the beads like the original pattern.
Best of luck!
Thread a needle with elastic thread. Do not cut a piece off the spool. Leave it attached until you’re done. Make sure the threaded end of needle is able to pass through bead openings. Pass threaded needle through the first bead and push it back so you have room to put needle through the next bead. Think of it as running a single stitch through every bead hole. When you get back to the first bead again, tie the loose ends of the elastic together by holding the loose ends, loop both over a finger and pull both ends through the loop at the same time. Cut off the end still attached to your spool. Tuck knotted end into a bead.
