STIHL Blower was serviced last year. Sound while IDLING?
STIHL was serviced last year, no issues until today and the start and IDLING makes a strange noise it never did before. Does anyone have experience knowing what is causing this vibrating noise is during idling? It sounds just fine when running on more power, but when idling makes me nervous. The PHOTO option doesn't seem to allow a VIDEO option.

Do you know if they replaced the spark arrester when it was serviced? That's one possibility, but since you had it serviced not too long ago I'm wondering if they did not do that as part of the service. Another thing to check is your fuel mixture if you mix oil and gas. If the mixture is off it will run rough. Speaking of gas, if you are using old gas that was not treated with fuel stabilizer, you might have some water in the gas from condensation.
Not sure about the Spark arrester. i had a SIMILAR thought about the gas/oil mix. I did the last mix guestimating, but maybe not enough oil mix.... Gas is relatively new, but the mix might be it. Thanks. I'll add a small amount to the gas and see if that helps and when it runs low, I'll make the oil/gas mix is right for sure. (( Have a friend / boat mechanic, that told me to use the gas/oil mix in my John Deere riding mower as it is better for the engine. I haven;t done that yet, but assume if true, I can add the rest of the mix gas to the John Deere and start with a new gas/oil mix.

So I heard a metal rattling, opened the case, found the Muffler/ Spark Plug arrester was loose. ONLY had ONE SCREW in it and that loosened. I found a like screw, put it back together and .... sounds normal again! Holy cow, something that simple.
