Sure can. You'd have to cover everything you don't want to get painted. Drape the walls and floor with plastic drop cloths. Cover any doorways to other rooms. Use a dust mask or respirator. Overspray is notorious.
Spray paint is probably not your best paint option if you want good coverage and durability. I would rent or buy a paint sprayer and use a good quality acrylic latex paint in an enamel finish. You will be much happier with the finished product.
