Hello, I think your question got cut off so could you give us a little more information on what you are wanting to do?
Sandrs, painting is a very personal choice. I use the following guideline for painting the rooms in my house:
60% of the room color should be the base color (walls and ceiling)
30% should be a complementary accent color for trim and moulding
10% should be an accent color to "pop" - I usually pick my accent color from an accessory like a favorite pillow or drapes.
Sounds as if you've had your interior walls painted and are not likely how it looks now. I believe you can take a picture of your room(s) and upload into a program that is available as an app on your smart phone. Maybe try this: I haven't but hope it is helpful to you.

What kind of light bulbs do you have inside your home? If they are incandescent, the yellowish light that they give off could be offsetting your new wall colour, and making it seem less attractive than you were hoping for. Fluorescent light gives off a greenish light tone, which could also be responsible for your new wall colour not meeting with your expectations.
I would suggest first to change all your lightbulbs to LED bulbs, or integrated LED fixtures, which is a cleaner light, closer to natural light. If you have any of the older amber glass or plastic coverings, change those out to clear or white as well.
