How do I clean hair dye from bathtub?
I have varying colors put in my hair by a professional hairstylist (purples, blues, etc). The bathtub in my current apartment seems to absorb it more than any others I’ve had, as if it was a very pourous surface. It’s very difficult to clean and remove the various colors. Does anyone have experience with this and/or have any suggestions on the best, most efficient way to make my tub look clean again? Thanks for your help!

I would try a magic eraser first and if that doesn't work maybe soft scrub with bleach.
Also fill tub to the line where the stain is, with water add plenty of bleach. Let sit and see if it comes out drain. I do straight bleach in older sink at my dads place, that has staining food and rust.
Problem is the finish on the tub is wearing away, so now it's porous, I'd be careful with the bleach. You're going to have this problem as long as you don't have a good surface.
Mix bleach and water in spray bottle , spray on let sit and rinse off. Or the soft scrub w bleach option. It’s going to need bleach. The tub will keep getting dye as long as it’s not refinished.
If all else fails use Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. Works on enamel, porcelain, and fiberglass.
No, Easy Off won't affect the tub. If your concerned do a small area first.
