Is this a question asking if it would clean the cabinet? Possibly, but you would really need to rinse off the soap well as it is very concentrated. What kind of cabinets? Kitchen? Somewhat greasy? Here's a trick you might now have thought of. Acne face wash or a face wash for oily skin. If possible make sure it is a clear gel soap.
Hear me out on this one. Dilute the soap in hot water. The ingredients of the cleanser is usually salicylic acid. The acid in the cleanser will breakdown the oils on the surface of the cabinet. If the diluted cleanser is just too weak try a small amount of the cleanser on a rag in a not too obvious spot. I used to work at a factory that made them years ago. It was one of the secret cleaners by the factory workers.
