Repurpose glass crackle globes

Different filter media for different applications. All depends on your water quality. Some companies that make filters can do a water test through water samples you mail in.
That totally depends on what kind of water you have/ well? really hard? etc.. Contact water system service and ask about upgraded filters,adding water softener,sediment filters(wells)
We have very hard water. We ended up putting a reverse osmosis system in. That is a 5 filter system, cost about $180. Really does the trick. Found APEC 5 stage on Amazon.
