Cleaning hardwood floors
There really aren’t any rules per se. I like to use an eclectic pattern so I don’t have to make sure that every picture is hung at the exact same height as the one next to it.

Eye level is the recommended height. For a grouping I would say the focal point should be eye level. It depends on if you want a structured look but I think as long as you are happy, it’s good. I recommend cutting paper the size of frames and using poster putty, stick on the wall to test it.
