If they're chrome, this requires wiping them dry after every use, with a soft microfiber cloth.
To clean hard water spots, wipe with a soft cloth and distilled white vinegar, then buff dry.
You can also try applying a high quality car wax, suitable for chrome.
Try using Canola spray cooking oil.
I use a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and Dawn. Pour into spray bottle, spray on, let it sit for about 15 minutes and wipe with a damp clean cloth.
I agree with using vinegar on hard water spots. Buff it up with a soft rag or towel to a great shine when the spots are gone.
Don't use vinegar if the counter is granite or marble.
