Can you pick at it and peel it off?
You could try spraying leather conditioner on the spot. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and then use a toothbrush and it should come up. The leather conditioner will help soften the paint so it comes off without damage to the chair.
Goof Off. WD40.
Goo off or Goo gone.
My husband ended up using rubbing alcohol and q-tips to get it off. Then he used olive oil cooking spray on the spot to condition it! I couldn't believe it actually worked! He told me I shouldn't have gotten so upset about it... He wasn't home when I found the spot.
Thank you for all the responses.
The thing about oil and water? They don’t mix! So, the last thing you want to do is rub this stain with a damp or wet rag. The best way is to get an professional help if you do not want to damage your couch. I did the same with my comfy recliner chair. And it worked absolutely flawless.
