What can I do with a very old and large ornate picture frame?
I have 2 large and heavy picture frames that are not in they best shape. I still have the pictures of very old family members. I am not sure who they are.

You might spray paint it a fun color and hang just the frame on the wall and tape current snapshots to the wall using decorative washi tape, for a more contemporary photo display. Or you could turn it into a serving tray by attaching it to a piece of wood and adding handles.
Sandy: ask yourself "do I really want to keep these?" --- "do they bring me joy?" If not, donate the frames...
Or, you may want to simply paint them a funky color and keep.
