How can I change the color of my grout?
My grout has stained over the years and I would like to see if there is a way to change the color without re-grouting it.

Check with a tile supply store to see if it is possible. You may need to remove and re-grout. If so, get a grout with stain blocker or seal the new grout if old style.
The home improvement stores sell a special grout paint. I’ve used Mapei Grout Refresh from Lowe’s in my last house and it was durable.
Hi Bonnie,
Grout tends to dry out and start to crumble so if you put more colored grout in, eventually the grout underneath will start to crumble. That will ruin the new grout you just put in. It's better to dig out and replace the old grout if you want to change it. You'll be starting the 'grout crumble clock' over again. Wishing you the best.

Ployblend Grout Renew - An Affordable, Easy Way to Update Grout Color
How to Change Grout Color, the Easy Way!
I bought this grout paint (I even darkened the color by adding black acrylic paint because I wanted a darker color than what was available for purchase). Very easy to apply and it doesn't matter if you don't have a steady hand---the paint wipes right off the tile but stays on the grout. I painted the grout in 2 bathrooms and it still looks brand new after two years. Holds up great even after lots of steam mopping and routine cleaning. Good luck!
Sorry about that tiny picture of the grout paint i used---Here's a better picture.
