Did you want to paint the walls to look like marble? If that's the case, here's a video that could help. There are a lot of videos on youtube.com and also a lot of articles about this technique. I'd research this and look for more of them to learn more tips from other people before doing this yourself.

I have a faux sponge paint roller cover that I use, along with diluted paint in 2-4 shades of the colors I want to use. I work over the areas with a damp rolled rag for the veins.
