Yes. I had a house with that system. I recommend replacing with another brand. I had nothing but trouble from day one. I love Trane systems.

I would read Consumer Reports, if you’re considering buying a new unit. What is their warranty?
The AFUE should be at least 80 & the SEER at least 12. Your State can mandate higher ratings on one or both of those. I know of several that do.
Personally, I always buy higher-rated units for both heating & cooling. I hate high utility bills.
With something like a HVAC System a higher quality unit is worth it, as one doesn’t want it to be breaking right when you need it to perform.
I’ve had Carrrier systems that I loved, never cost me another penny in 16 years (& then I moved).
How long do you want it to last before it breaks? Are you selling the house in a couple of years?
