Chalk paint, lightly sand edges where hands would normally touch and edges, buff with a coat of wax made for chalk paint, or use a TINY touch or antiquing wax. Use it SPARINGLY until you get the look you want. Practice on a piece of scrap wood.
Hi Irene! An easy way to distress and paint kitchen cabinets is with a chalk based or mineral based paint! You'll want to lightly clean them with TSP and then wipe down with a damp shop towel. Choose your favorite chalk paint and begin to paint! To distress Use a medium grade steel OR 220 grit sandpaper to go around the edges!

Paint them 2 colors you want one color to come through from under neath and one to be the top coat then when totaly dry you sand the edges corners make the other paint come through
